| So alot has happened in My world. Alot is coming to the forefront of my life. Stuff that I dreamt of ,and things I had hoped to avoid. Aren't we all like this? But that's what makes life Life and in the end, I feel like I have accomplished something worth accomplishing. Sometimes the things we dread the most aren't that big a deal, and the things we put alot of hope in turn out to be nothing at all. I'm seeking Balance and I can tell I am finding it. I have seen the importance of prayer, now I'm not talking about the prayers we pray throughout the day, but the kind that turns a simple prayer into a moment between you and your Creator, where you actually open your eyes and you find yourself face to face with Gods own face. Heart to Heart, eye to eye. These moments then turn into sharing. Not just you spilling your guts out to God, But he spilling his heart out to you. I petition: No more onesided Conversations with God, I petition: That we don't just go, pray, then leave, but we wait and listen, stop and listen to what he so desperately wants to say to us.

| A Tribute to Beaners Gourmet Coffee. The following was a comment that I made on Beaners.com. a few months back. It was intended to express my deep affection for the coffee, as well as to entertain the poor guy that has to read the comments...Little did I know that the President of Beaners himself, would contact me, read the comment to his corporate staff, and send a copy and make the staff at all the Beaners in the U.S. read it.
(The following is a mostly true account, somethings may have been exaggerated for the sake of drama and drama alone) So I am driving along one day searching for a good cup of something to satisfy my caffeine craving, when suddenly I see this orange colored sign with the awkward name "Beaners" on it, and I think huh, another new coffee house? Who do they think they are coming into a "Starbucks" infested town? Who would have the nerve? And then laughing silently to myself I think, they'll never last. So I go to this place, out of pure curiosity, and simply because the need for a good cup of coffee had escalated, and became a nagging voice inside my brain. I walk in and first off there are signs everywhere with claims such as: "The best coffee in the world", again I laugh, outloud this time, causing the lady ahead of me in line to jump. (Sorry Lady) It's my time to order and I decide on a bottomless cup, the guy that waited on me was nice and helped me choose the French Roast. Ladies and Gentlemen , even though I have been known to travel and enjoy cups of Coffee from foreign lands, this much is true, your coffee was, hands down, the best coffee I have had yet to date. I exaggerate not when I saw I will greatly anticipate the day when I can drive down my Oklahoma street, and see a "Beaners Coffee House" before me, and it not be a mirage. 5 Stars
